This replacement battery worked a little better than the new one when it was new.
It was delivered as promised. I'm tempted to buy another. There are lots of generic and "other" brand replacements on Amazon and the product descriptions in my opinion are intentionally vague. I didn't feel confident in replacing my Toshiba batteru with one of those. So I hunted and checked until I was SURE that the one I bought was a Toshiba brand. Since I have seen reviews copied and pasted under items OTHER than what was originally reviewed, use caution in your selection. This one did the job for my laptop. I got this new (original) battery pack and it was well worth the investment. The old battery wasnt lasting more than 10 minutes, and the new one gives me more than 2 hours of usage.

My old toshiba battery lasted about two years before it began losing its ability to hold a charge, and for Lithium Ion batteries, that's a pretty good life. I think this battery might not last quite that long, but it's got a great discharge on it considering I have a laptop with a large display.
