Finally a product that works. I needed a keyboard and mouse for my computer working with a HDTV. This is the third keyboard purchased. The first two were made by logictech and returned due to lack of range or frequent missed keys. Finally found one that works excellent from the couch. Thanks [...] and Amazon.

Both keyboard and mouse started working immediately when I plugged in the connector. I did't have to install the CD which was a relief because I bought them for a netbook which does not have a CD-ROM drive. The defaults worked perfectly. The keyboard has the right key size and layout. Extra buttons are very convenient - especially the media buttons if your main use is play movies sitting on the couch in front of a TV. The mouse fills ergonomicaly natural in hand and is very convenient in action. Works on any surface except polished tempered glass.

After getting this combo i am reall shocked that this has no reviews. its amazing i really opend the box put the batt's in and plugged it into the usb slot... thats it... it works perfectly the DPI button is more than i need but might com in handy in the future. the mouse works great and has an awesome shape, you wont go bad by picking this combo and its a great price for a great name...

I'm really impressed by this keyboard/mouse combo. Everything works very well straight out of the box. ALL of the media buttons and other extra buttons (of both the mouse and keyboard) work well WITHOUT installing the software. That's probably the thing I'm happiest about. I love the keyboard so far. All of the extra buttons are really convenient and the keyboard itself is very very thin so it's sleek and doesnt make too much clutter. So far, I have not noticed any delays or missed keys or anything like that with the keyboard either.
The mouse feels a LITTLE bit cheap...but that might just be me because my previous mouse was a Logitech VX Revolution (sadly the scroll wheel started having issues scrolling up). Nonetheless, the mouse feels fine in my hand (it's on the small size though, (essentially the same size as my VX Rev actually) and includes the scroll wheel + the forward/back buttons. I noticed on competing keyboard/mouse sets that the respective mouses often didn't include Back/Forward buttons...which is important to me.
Oh and btw, the main reason I chose this set was because I saw that it had a Limited Lifetime Warranty label on the back of the box. I then walked over to this other keyboard/mouse set by Microsoft that looked really appealing to me as well....but that one was about $80 and only had a 3 year warranty.
Ultimately, I felt this was the BEST combo set available under $40.
