I got the newer variant of this (last 3 characters in model name are 20U not 10U), which is supposed to be the same except for more power for the T5xx series. (Lenovo website says both are compatible with my Lenovo T410 computer.)
I thought I had a serious problem because the ethernet port simply would not connect. But I've since figured out that it had to do with some configuration problems on our office network (I won't go into details here, but they were obscure).
The minor problem I find is that the sound seems muted, but I am not worrying too much about that.
So no issues: buy one if you have a compatible system. (Check compatibility on the Lenovo website.)
