I got this case because I wanted something with pockets so I could store my power cord and mouse, and this works perfectly! My laptop slides right in and fits inside snugly, and the outside pocket has plenty of room for all my accessories. The material is a nice canvas, and it's very stylish. You carry the case vertically by the side strap, or you can fit it inside of another bag.

This fits my wide screen laptop perfectly, not to mention it's pretty stylish. The fit is snug, no room to move around, it is nicely padded and the canvas is a good sturdy material. The case seems well made, the seams are all strong and durable. My power cord, wireless mouse and mouse pad all fit in the outside pocket without a problem. Would highly recommend this.

The image is a little deceptive. It looks like there is a shoulder strap, there isn't. It's not a problem though. I purchased this for a younger brother (18 yrs old) for christmas. He left for the winter semester of college. He had a neoprene slip case for his laptop, but since he does field work in some of his classes and he likes to hike and camp he needed something a little bit more rugged, but something that didn't weight a ton. This worked purfectly, it's made out of cotton canvas so it's pretty sturdy, but not so ugly and utilitarian that he won't take it to classes either. It's a happy medium between form and function for boy.

bought this laptop bag recently. i am completely satisfied with it. it is light weight, but still protects your laptop. i would definitely buy it again.

This bag is made of a medium weight canvas material. It doesn't seem as well padded as my old neoprene sleeve (Poppy PC Laptop Sleeve -Tangerine) but it has enough if the sleeve will be put inside another bag OR you will only be using it for light travel/commute. It's a snug, but not too snug, fit for my 15" MacBook Pro with Speck Products case. The pocket on the front is roomy and can hold the power adapter and/or some papers/keys/etc. Don't get carried away though. Too much and it gapes open in between the velcro tabs. Construction seems pretty solid. Seems like the canvas would do a decent job of repelling spills, at least long enough for you to clean it up.
